Seri PerdanaI will fight for government policies and institutions to remain secular.

All Malaysians should have the freedom to choose whatever faith they want to believe in and to practise it as they see fit.

However, any moral or personal sins should not be criminalised. Malaysia must eradicate moral policing to protect people’s right to live their private life without interference from the State.

Any religious activities should be funded by the respective community on their own without using taxpayers’ monies. Religious departments, the Shariah court system and the construction of mosques should be funded by Muslims. Likewise, churches should be funded by the Christian community and temples by the Hindus and Buddhists.

Official forms must not require one to list their race or religion. The National Registration Department (NRD) should not record our race or religion, or list it on the birth certificate or MyKad. Those details can be collected in the government’s census.
